Maidstone Music Festival

Maidstone Music Festival is open to amateur performers of all ages and levels of ability. Various classes are offered within the following categories:

• Piano
• Bowed strings
• Plucked strings
• Woodwind, brass, recorders
• Accordions, concertinas, harmonicas
• Mixed instrumental ensembles
• Singing

Whilst most classes are competitive, there are also some non-competitive classes, including some for family ensembles, and professional musicians may take part in the 'open' classes.

This year our Festival President, Pam Wedgwood, will be giving a workshop for teachers and a masterclass for pupils.
